Either you love cooking or hate it. However, having a beautifully organized kitchen can improve your cooking experience. In addition, having things in clear sight can make cooking that much easier.
Let’s start with the good ol’ bread and butter; I mean spices.
Spices can transform and elevate any dish. They can remind you of your culture and give you a feeling of comfort. So having those sorted out can make flavorful food that much more achievable.
Here are a few different ways I like to organize my spices and sauces in my kitchen,
Lazy Susans!
They make looking through various seasonings much more neat and efficient. This compact system rotates 365 degrees which makes it my number one choice for organizing your kitchen.
This metal 2 tier lazy susan has elevated my counter space and can be found on Amazon via the affiliate link above.
Below is a one-tier lazy Susan option. That can fit in cupboard and pantry shelves. As you can tell it can hold numerous items in a single file, but there is also space in the middle in which I tend to keep duplicate items.
Moving on to…
Jars!
I found these wonderful jars at Marshall’s however these jars on amazon seem to be identical.
These jars are great for storing large quantities of dried goods. I used them for my most used seasoning: garlic and onion powder, paprika, and Italian seasoning. The large opening makes it easy to pour and use my measuring spoons and cups with no issue.
As for the small individual jars, I found those on amazon. They hold up to 4oz which is usually equivalent to the plastic seasoning bottles found in stores. They come with labels for various seasonings and a funnel to help you transfer without a mess.
I hope these items help bring your kitchen some organization and clarity. If you have any questions please feel free to post a comment!
